On June 19, the launch ceremony of NORINCO’s vehicle export project to Cuba was held in Beijing, marking the formal effectiveness and execution of the large civil vehicle export contract signed between NORINCO and Cuba Heavy Transportation Equipment Supply Company and insured by SINOSURE in July 2007. Among those present at the ceremony were NORINCO President Zhao Gang, Vice President Xu Yuping, President Assistant Luo Kaiquan, and Carlos, Cuban Ambassador to China and Mr. Alch, First Vice Minister of Cuba Ministry of Transportation.
