From September 17 to 21, NORINCO participated in Africa Aerospace and Defense Exihibition(AAD) 2008 held in Cape Town, South Africa. 220 companies from over 20 countries including China, Russia, USA, South Africa, UK, France, Germany, India and Pakistan exhibited their aerocrafts and army weapons, as well as their technology, accessories and services. NORINCO exhibited HJ-8 Anti-Tank Missile and five models of MBT-2000, WMZ551 Wheeled IFV (infantry fighting vehicle) and LD2000 Air Defence weapon, as well as 17 drawing boards for such weapons as PLZ45-155 self-propelled artillery systems and AR2 300mm long-range MLRS, winning favor and extensive attention of the audience.
